THE LATE MRS. TRANTER
On Tuesday afternoon the remains of the late Mrs. Tranter were laid to rest in the Newbury cemetery, being followed by her three daughters and other members of the family and friends.

The deceased will be remembered as having been for many years landlady of the Bricklayers’ Arms, Bartholomew-street, on retiring from which she left the town but subsequently returned, and the last few years of her life were spent with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W.K. Edwell.

This obituary entry is awaiting verification.
