MARY JANE PRINCE
SUDDEN DEATHS: Two sudden deaths have taken place this week. On Saturday night Mrs Mary Jane Prince, wife of a wood and coal dealer, St Mary’s road, went to bed in her usual health, although complaining of a bad cold. About four o’clock her husband was awakened by hearing a rattling noise in her throat, but before he could get a light his wife was dead.
The matter was reported to P C Gibbs, who informed the Borough Coroner. Inquiries having been made of deceased’s medical attendant, Dr Watson certified that death was due to syncope.
Note: Mrs Prince was 63 years of age.
