MARY BUNNY
The Late Mrs. Bunny.- The funeral of the late Mrs. Bunny, whose death we recorded last week, took place on Saturday, in the family vault at the Newbury Cemetery. The burial service was conducted by the Rev. E. I. Gardiner, Rector of Newbury.
The mourners were Mr. J. Brice Bunny, Miss Bunny, Miss M. E. Bunny, Mr. Wells, Mr. Eyles, Miss K. Bunny, Master Bunny, Rev. and Mrs. Gooch, Mrs. Greene, and the household servants. At the Cemetery were a number of personal friends, including Miss Barnes, Mr. W. J. Cowper, Mr. G. N. Tanner, Mr. R. Fisher, Rev. E. Lopresti, Mr. D. R. Jones, &c.
The coffin was of polished oak, and a brass plate bore the inscription, “Mary Bunny, died March 9, 1891, aged 82.” The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr. H. S. Hannington of Northbrook Street. |
