There is no burial register information available for John Keys.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

John Keys
c1782-1863
John was born in Berkshire he was baptised on the 12th May 1782 in Bucklebury Berkshire and was the son of John and Elizabeth Keys.
John and Elizabeth also had the following children (all baptised in Bucklebury):
Hannah, Elizabeth, and Sarah all baptised on the 24th June 1787
Amy, baptised on the 6th May 1792
John married Catherine Brown on the 21st October 1813 in Albury Oxfordshire and they had at least five children:
Sarah Ann c1815
John c1816
Eliza c1821
Harriet c1826
Maria c1832
In 1815 John, Catherine and their daughter Sarah Ann were living in Clark’s Buildings (on the west side of Bartholomew Street) Newbury and John was working as a Glazier.
Catherine died aged 45 in 1835 she was buried on the 8th April at St Nicolas Newbury
In 1841 John (55) was working as a Plumber, he was living in Bartholomew Street Newbury with his children, John (25), Eliza (20) and Harriet (15). Maria was not at home at this time she was recorded as aged 10 living in Mary Hill Newbury (possibly in a school).
In the 1851 census John (69) was recorded as a Plumber and Glazier employing 3 men the family were still living in Bartholomew Street Newbury.
On the 4th October 1855 John’s son John died aged 39 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 8th October.
In the 1861 census John (79) was recorded living at 9 King John’s Almshouses Newbury he was recorded as an Almsman, late Plumber.
On the 27th September 1861 John’s daughter Maria died aged 29 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 30th September.
John died aged 82 on the 27th February 1863 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 4th March.
