There is no burial register information available for Samuel Flint.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

Year. / Samuel, son of the above/ died Feb. 24th. 1862/ aged 7 1/2 years./ Elizabeth Ann Flint/ died Dec. 2nd. 1879/ aged 20 years. Samuel Flint
1854-1862
Samuel was born in Newbury in 1854 he was the eldest child of Samuel and Ellen Flint (nee Dows) who married in Newbury in 1853. Samuel’s father was a Brewer and was born c1826 in Newbury his mother was born c1831 in Thatcham.

Samuel died aged 7yrs 6 months on the 24th February 1862 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road cemetery on the 28th February.
Both the 1861 and 1871 census record the family were living in Cheap Street Newbury.
The UK Poll Books and Electoral Registers for the year 1874 records:

Samuel’s father was Mayor of Newbury 1871-1872
Samuel’s father died aged 50 on the 27th January 1875 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 2nd February.
In 1881 his mother and sister Ellen were visiting in Holdenhurst Road Christchurch Hampshire, his mother was recorded as living on Income from Dividends. In 1891 the family were living in Newtown Road Newbury and in 1901 Ellen and her son Charles William were recorded living in Wimbourne Road Bournemouth Hampshire.
Samuel’s mother died aged 75 on the 25th December 1905 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 29th December. At the time of her death she was living at “Firs” Berries Bank Greenham.
