Charlotte Legg
Charlotte Legg
nee Aldridge, she was born c.1830 in Newbury. She married her first husband William Brindley in 1848 Newbury. He died in 1870. She later married James Crossley Legg in 1876 Newbury. She died aged 82 years on 25 December 1912.
Probate states “ Charlotte Legge of Raymonds Almshouses Newbury (wife of James Crossley Legge) died 25 December 1912 at Donnington Square, Newbury. Probate to John Salway, banker’s clerk”. She was buried on 28 December 1912.
