LOUISA WOOTTEN

THE LATE MRS. WOOTTEN

The death took on Saturday at the age of 71. of Mrs. Louisa Wootten, widow of the late Mr. Elijah Wootten, for several years proprietor of the Pelican Posting Stables who died in 18?7. Since the death of her last surviving son, Mr. FreWootten, Mrs Wootten has lived in retirement at Ashleigh, Craven-road.

The funeral took place yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon, the first portion of the service being conducted at the Parish Church, the Rev. L. R. Majendiofficiating.

The mourning relatives were Mr. Joseph Jefferies, Miss Jefferies, Mr. William Jefferies, Mr. Sydney Jefferies and Miss Eve Jefferies, nephews and nieces, Miss Stevens, Mr. Stevens Mr. W. H. Pitman and several personal friends were present ithe church. The interment took plate at the Cemetery, where are buried deceased’s husband and two sons.

The funeral was carried out by Mr. Charles Adey.
