Transciption: | WILLIAM ADAMS ODDFELLOW’S FUNERAL On Tuesday the remains of the late Mr. W. Adams, of the “Axe and Compass”, St. Mary’s Hill, were interred in the Newbury Cemetery. The deceased who had been ailing for some time, was for many years a member of the Loyal Britain’s Pride Lodge of Oddfellows, and a representative contingent from the two Newbury Lodges attended to pay the last respects to their deceased brother.
