North side: Also THOMAS GARRETT died 28th July 1892 aged 71 years. East side: Also FRANK LESLIE WHITE died Nov. 6th. 1941 aged 48 years. Scroll: ILMO EDWARD WILLIAM WHITE/ died 12th. Oct. 1922/ aged 67. / Also MARY his wife/ died 5th. of May 1937/ aged 86./ "Resting/ until the daybreak." These we have loved. | |

John Garrett was borb 18 nov 1844. His father was Thomas Garrett and his mother Ann. In 1851 living in Old Newtown Road. By 1861 he is a Groom and Gardener at Chamberhouse Mill, Thatcham. In 1871 he is living in Back lane with Avis Tennant as a lodger. He married her daug. Mary Ann Tennant in1873 q3
He died 18 july 1875. Gravestone says George but death reg. as John Oddfellows Pride funeral
