From top of headstone: Sacred to the memory of/ William Morris/ who died Feb. 4th. 1855/ aged 64 years. "And now Lord where is my hope, Truly my hope is even in Thee. " Psalm XXXIX 8. Also of Mary, his beloved wife, who died April 22nd. 1874 aged 80 years. "Though He slay me yet will I trust in Him, but will maintain mine own ways before Him".
