ANNIE MATILDA CULLUM

DEATH OF MRS. T.H. CULLUM


The death occurred last week of Mrs. Cullum, wife of Mr. T. H. Cullum, of Northcroft. She was spending a short holiday in the Kintbury district, when she was taken seriously ill, and medical aid was called in . She was removed to the nursing home in St John's-road, and a specialist consulted. He was unable to recommend an operation, and death resulted on July 24th.

The funeral took place on Friday afternoon, the first part of the service being conducted in the Congregational Church by the Rev. A.H. Fowler.
The mourners were Mr. T.H. Cullum (husband), Mr. Harry Cullum (son), Miss Kathleen Cullum (daughter), Mrs. H.T. Manders, Mrs. Frank Wheeler, Mrs. Edward White (sisters), Mr. Edward White, Mr. Frank Wheeler (brothers-in-law), Mrs. Gilbert Cullum (sister-in-law), Mrs. Howard Neld, Mrs. Arthur Bridgeman, Miss Maud Cullum(nieces), Mr. Rupert Cullum (nephew), Mr. Arthur Bridgeman.

There follows a long list of those in attendance.

The interment was in Newbury Cemetery. She was aged 62. Newbury Weekly News 2 August 1923 Mrs P. p.14 W47 d. 24 July 1923



Also Thomas Henry Cullum died 2 October 1938 aged 73 "beloved husband of Lilly Cullum".
