The articles below contain information about Lizetta Moren.
Nelson Moren was born to a farmer of Marden, nr Tonbridge, Kent who later turned to Furniture dealing and Valuation.
Nelson began as a Groom in Tonbridge but later followed his father into Furniture dealing.
By 1920 he & wife Lizetta were living at 3 Winchcombe Rd, Newbury, where his parents had died in 1916 & 1918. In 1939 he was described as Incapacitated and a retired Furniture Salesman. He married Lizetta Couzens, daughter of a Horse Slaughterer, in Sporle, Swaffham, Norfolk and who, by 1911, was working as a Barmaid at The Angel, High St, Tonbridge.
They both lived at 3, WInchombe Rd until their deaths. Nelson died in the Emergency Hospital, Newbury in 1944 & Lizetta in Battle Hospital, Reading in 1958. Nelson left over £1000 to his widow; Lizetta left £807 to her brother Frederick John Couzens, a retired Stock-keeper.
