"Until the day break."/ From top to bottom of plaque: D.M. Rowles - Dec.19 1965/ R.M. Rowles - Nov.19 1966/ "Redeemed by the precious blood of Christ. 1 Peter 1,19. / Also of Cpl. Charles S. Rowles/ Canadian Mounted Rifles/ son of the above / Killed in action at Ypres in Flanders/ June 2nd. 1916/ aged 33 years. / Peace perfect peace./
