There is no burial register information available for Alfred Judd.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

ALFRED JUDD He leaves a widow (daughter of the late Mr. Randall formerly a Mayor of the borough) and several children, one of whom was recently elected to Christ's Hospital The funeral took place on Tuesday, the body being brought to Newbury, and interred in the Randall family vault at the Cemetery. In addition to members of the family, Messrs. G. Withers, C. Adey, W. Edmonds and J. Kemp attended as representing the Horticultural Society, who sent a beautiful wreath. c1837-1895
Alfred, his parents, siblings and early life:
Alfred was baptised on the 10th December 1837 in Leckford, Hampshire, the son of William (a Gardener) and Rosanna Judd (nee Marsh) who were married on the 26th June 1836 in Andover Hampshire.
His father William was baptised in 1815 in Leckford, Hampshire, the son of Hannah Judd. He died aged 56 in 1872 (death registered in Andover)
His mother Rosanna was born c1812 in Broughton, Hampshire. She died aged 82 in 1894 (death registered in Andover)
William and Rosanna also had the following children:

In 1841 Alfred (3) was living in Union Street, Andover, Hampshire with his father William (25), his mother Rosanna (25), his sister Ellen (1), Mary Judd (75) and Esther Marsh (55).
The 1851 census records Alfred aged 13, living in East Street, Andover with his father William (35), a Grocer and General Dealer, his mother Rosanna (39) and his siblings Ellen (11), Emma (8) and Arthur (5).
Alfred in later life:
The 1861 census records Alfred (23) living and working as a Grocer’s Assistant at 91 Northbrook Street, Newbury, Berkshire, for a John William Randll (54), a Grocer and Provisions Merchant. Others recorded in the household were, John’s wife Harriet (51), their daughters Sarah (21) and Harriet Jane (16), a William Harries (26) and a James Hill (16), both Grocer’s Assistants, a Cook and a Housemaid.
Alfred’s employer John William Randall died on the 18th November 1863. He was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 24th November.
After John William Randall’s death Alfred took over the grocery business at 91 Northbrook Street.
He married John William Randall’s daughter, Harriet Jane Randall, on the 28th April 1866, at St Nicolas Church, Newbury.
Alfred and Harriet Jane had the following children:
Alfred Ernest 1867 in Croydon (died aged 5 in 1872, buried in the NRC on the 19th April)
Florence Edith c1869 in Newbury
Arthur Gilbert 1870 in Newbury (died aged 14 months in 1872, buried in the NRC on the 12th January)
Rose Emma 1872 in Newbury
Eva Mary 1874 in Newbury
Alice Mabel c1876 in Newbury
Francis William 1877 in Newbury
Elsie Blanch 1879 in Newbury
Dora c1882 in Newbury
Frederick Beaconsfield 1884 in Newbury
The 1871, 1881 and 1891 census records record Alfred as a Grocer in Northbrook Street, Newbury.
Alfred was declared bankrupt in 1894. He died aged 58 the following year on the 13th February in Chelsea. His body was brought to Newbury and he was laid to rest in the Randall family vault, in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 19th February. Also buried in the vault were his father-in-law John William Randall, his mother-in-law Harriet Randall and his sister-in-law Sarah Elizabeth Randall.
Alfred’s widow Harriet (56) was recorded as a Monthly Nurse at 17 Mariott Road, South Mimms, Hertfordshire in 1901.
The 1911 census records her aged 65, as a patient in a Nursing Home at 12 Lancaster Place, Hampstead.
She died aged 74 on the 21st April 1919 (death registered in Marylebone). Her address at the time of her death was recorded as 10 Greville-place, Kilburn, Middlesex.
