    See existing notes in FNRC BURIAL RECORDS In addition: Mary worked as a servant before she married, in 1891 for retired farmer, James Tubb & his wife of 1, Mount Villa, Newtown Rd, Newbury. Joseph started work earning 15/- as a porter for GWR at Theale Station. His wages rose to 17/- in 1890 & 18/- in 1891. In July 1890 he was reprimanded for "Irregular working of signals causing delay to a train" but was not fined. In his will he left £1522. In 1939 he was described as a retired lorry driver.
