FUNERAL OF MR. C. L. NICHOLSON
The funeral of Mr. Charles Lyne Nicholson, of Porchester-road, Newbury, whose death, at the age of 65, was recorded in our last issue, took place on Saturday afternoon at the Newtown-road Cemetery. The service was conducted by the Rev. J. N. Blagden, of Greenham. The mourners were: Mrs. Nicholson (widow), Mrs. King (sister), Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fabry (brother-in-law and sister-in-law), Messrs. Harry and William Fabry (brothers-in-law). "There then follows a list of the many people who were present."
Wreaths were sent from: His wife; Sisters Lizzie and Kate; Fred, Kate and Dorothy, Dovercourt; Charlie and family, Middlewich; Wallie and Florrie, "The Bear"; Mick, Annie and family; Harry and Linda; Wallie, Kathleen and boys, Portsmouth; "there then follows a list of the many people who sent flowers".

He died on 15 November 1933 and he was buried on 18 November 1933.

The gravestone inscription includes his wife Florence Maud Nicholson who died on 1 March 1963 aged 80 years.
