DEATH OF MRS. WALTER MONEY
The death took place on Thursday last at Shaw Dean, Donnington, of Mrs. Money, wife of the local historian, Mr. Walter Money, F.S.A. Mrs. Money, who had reached the age of 82, always took the keenest interest in Mr. Money's archaeological work and in local institutions.

They were married at the Parish Chirch, Newbury on the 22nd August, 1865, and it is interesting to record that it was the first wedding solemnised in the chancel there after its restoration.

The funeral took place at the Old Cemetery, Newtown-road, on Monday, the Rector, Rev. Lionel Majendie officiating.

The mourners were Mr. Walter Money, Mr. Chester Money (son), and Mr. H.G. De V. Gipps (grandson). Other relatives and personal friends included Mrs. H.J. Finn, Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Barnes, Mr. and Mrs. Broome Pinniger, and Mr. Hugh Turner.

This obituary entry is awaiting verification.
