Much sympathy is felt with Mr F. Evans, of Clifton-road, in the great loss of his wife two days after the birth of their daughter.
The funeral took place on Saturday at the Old Cemetery, Newtown-road, the Rev. E.H. Stenning, Vicar of St John's, officiating.
The mourners were Mr F. Evans (husband), Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Hamblin (father and mother), Mrs Brindley, Mr. and Mrs. Ratcliffe, Mrs. Lake, Miss K. Brindley, Mrs. Hawkins, Mr. E. Hart, Miss Jarvis, Miss Turner, Miss Goodenough and Mrs. W. Hawkins.
