  From top of headstone: True to the Memory of/ Stephen Elliott/ who departed this life/ July 4th. 1860/ aged 76 years/ "Light is sown for the Righteous, and Gladness for the upright in heart."Psalm XLV11,11. Also/ Margaret/ Relict of the above/ who died Jan.13th. 1864/ aged 82 years./ "A loving wife, a mother dear, a faithful friend lies buried here" /Also William Elliott/ son of the above, who died Oct.30th 1892, / aged 76 years. "His end was peace"
