  "On S side of tomb: In Loving Memory of / John Sweetinburgh / who fell asleep Feby. 4th 1896/ aged 88 years./ On N side of tomb: In Loving Memory of / Mary widow of John Sweetinburgh / who departed this life February 4th. 1905, aged 88 years./ Ellen youngest daughter of John & Mary Sweetinburgh / who passed away July 14 1901 aged 46 years./ ""Entered in.""/ On headstone: Sacred / to the Memory of / James. son of / John & Mary Sweetinburgh, / who died 25 May. 1853; / aged 5 years./ Also of George their son, who died 22nd Decr.1853: aged 5 months. / With songs let us follow their flight, / and mount with their spirits above; / Escaped to the mansions of light ,/ and lodged in the Eden of love./ And of Thomas William / their son. / who died August 23rd 1856 / aged 4 years. / Also of Sarah Ann, second / daughter of the above / who died Sep. 23rd 1861 /aged 19 years./ On E side of tomb: Also/ Lucy Sweetinburgh/ died Nov 2nd 1920 aged 72.//"
