HENRY HARMSWORTH
Henry was born 1852 in Brimpton. He married Mary Ann Wickens on 23 April 1871 at St Peter, Brimpton. They had six children between 1872 & 1881, all born in Brimpton (Isabella, James Henry, Tom, Esther Maria, George & Alfred Mark). Mary Ann died soon after 1881 census & he married Alice Richardson on 2 August 1883 at St Peter, Brimpton. In the 1911 census Henry & Alice were living in Derby Road in Newbury with Henry working as a farm labourer. Henry was still living in Derby Road when he died in 1914 & was buried 7 March 1914 at Newtown Road Cemetery. Alice died 24 March 1936 while living at 14 Derby Road but was buried at Shaw Hill (!), Newbury (according to Berks Burial Index).
