DAVID GEATER

The funeral of the late Mr. David Geater, who died at 15 Newtown-road, took place on Wednesday, the 24th ult.

The remains, enclosed in a French polished elm coffin, with brass furniture, and name plate engraved-

David Geater

died April 19', 1912,

age 87 years

were conveyed in the glass Washington car from deceased's late residence to St John's Church, followed by a carriage containing the mourners, Mr. A.Geater, Mrs.Westall, Mrs.Bryant, Miss Rose Geater.   The procession was met at the church by the Ree. H. Wickham Legg, M A.,- who impressively read the first part of the service, and then proceeded to the Cemetery, where the remaining portion of the service was finished. Amongst those sending crosses and wreaths were: Alf Jane and family, Sally and family, Harry, Bella and Rose., Bessie, Mrs. Bishop. Mrs. Ward, Mr. and Mrs: E R Bishop, Mr. and Mrs. F. New. A Friend. the Hon. A. O’Neil (lreland), Mr. and Mrs. TufnaiL The funeral arrangements were in the hands of Messrs. Alfred Jackson and Co., Newbury.
