THE LATE MRS. JAMES BROWN The funeral of the late Mrs. James Brown took place at the Cemetery on Monday. The deceased was the widow of Mr. James Brown, for many years a Wesleyan local preacher, and also caretaker at the Wesleyan Chapel, and mention was made at the Sunday service of her long membership with the Wesleyan body.
The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Sydney Phillips, and the mourners were Messrs. George, Charles, Fred and Ernest Brown (sons), Mrs. Gunning (daughter). Mrs Ernest Brown (daughter-in-law), Mr. Gunning and Mr. Corderoy (sons-in-law), grandchildren, Mrs. Britten and daughters, Shefford:-
A number of old friends were present at the Cemetery.
The name plate was inscribed:-
ELIZA BROWN Died November 25 Aged 78
Wreaths had been sent by her children, Fred and Nell, Dorrie and Eric, Maud and Jack, Herbert, Mrs. Britten, Mrs Dalton, and the members of Miss Bradfield's class.
