ETHEL FREEMANTLE

The greatest sympathy has been expresses for Mr. and Mrs. W. Freemantle, who have sustained severe bereavement by the death of their eldest daughter, Ethel, at the age of 17, which took place on Saturday, from pneumonia, at St Leonards-on-Sea, where she was on a visit. The body was yesterday brought by train to Newbury Station, and thence conveyed to the Cemetery where the interment took place.

The polished coffin, with heavy brass furniture, was covered with a large number of beautiful wreaths from sympathising relatives and friends, many of whom were present at the funeral. The mourners were the mother and father, brother and sister, and other relations.
