EMILY ELIZABETH BANCE

THE LATE MRS. JOHN BANCE*

---The funeral of the late Mrs. John Bance, whose death occurred on Saturday last, took place yesterday (Wednesday) at the Cemetery. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. G. Dangerfield.

The mourners were Mr. John Bance (husband), Mr. E. Brookland (son), Mrs. Parker (sister), Mr. R. Bance and the Misses Bance.

The coffin, of polished oak with massive brass fittings was inscribed:-

EMILY BANCE

Died April 3 1904

Aged 50 years

Numerous wreaths were sent by sorrowing friends and relatives, among them being … Then follows a list.

The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr. W. H. Saltmarsh.
