CHARLOTTE HARDING
DEATH OF AN OLD SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER
Last Sunday, Charlotte Harding, the oldest teacher in the Primitive Methodist Sunday School, died at the age of 68. She had been a teacher some 32 years and her length of service was recognised last year when she was awarded by the Sunday School Union (Loudon), with a diploma of honour. for length of service. She had always remained teacher of the infant class, and many who are now men and women remember how she watched over them, Sunday after Sunday, with motherly solicitude.
She was buried yesterday, the Rev. J. Neville officiating. The first part of the service was held in the Primitive Methodist Church and both here and at the Cemetery many teachers, scholars, and friends, attended. She was borne to the grave by those who had been associated with her in Sunday School work. Teachers also sent a wreath, in addition to others placed on her coffin.
