ERNEST HENRY GREEN
DEATH OF MR. E.H. GREEN
Sympathy is felt with Mr. and Mrs. Green of Oxford-road, in the loss of their son, Ernest Henry, who died on January 4th, at the early age of 25. For some time he had a corn merchant's business in Cheap-street, but this was relinquished owing to failing health. He afterwards appeared to recover, but alarming symptoms were manifested, and medical skill was of no aid.
The funeral took place at the Cemetery on Wednesday (yesterday), the clergyman being the Rector, the Rev. L.R. Majendie.
The mourners were his father, brothers, members of the family and friends. A number of beautiful wreaths were sent from father and mother, brothers and sisters, Mr. and Mrs. F.W. Attewell and family Mr. and Mrs.Matthews, Misses C. and G. Thatcher, “Florrie”, Mr. Cleeves and family, Mr.ánd Mrs. Dew and Louie, Mrs. Atkins and family, Mr. Harry Hall, Mr. and Mrs. James Fabry, jun., Lily and “H.B.”
