HENRY BALDING BOYER
THE LATE MR. HARRY BOYER
Mr. Harry Boyer, son of Mr. George Boyer of Northbrook-street, who had been ill for some time, passed away on December 29th, and great sympathy was generally felt and shown by the townspeople for the sorrowing family.
The funeral was on Friday last at Newbury Cemetery, the first part of the ceremony taking place in St. Nicolas' church, the officiating clergyman being the Rector. Rev. L.R. Majendie.
The mourners included the bereaved father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. J. Povey (sister and brother-in-law), Misses N. and A. Boyer (sisters), Messrs W. and L. Boyer (brothers), and Mr. W. Boyer (uncle). A number of townspeople were also present.
The coffin, of polished oak with brass fittings, was inscribed

Aged 24 years
Among the wreaths were the following:- From his sorrowing parents, from his brothers and sisters, from Dora, from May and Jack, Mrs Davis and family (Westleigh), Mr. and Mrs. Wintle and family, Mr. and Mrs. Coldicutt and family, from “Daisy”, Mr. and Mrs. W. Williams, Mr. and Mrs. E. Turner, Mrs. Stilwell and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Gould and family, Mr. and Mrs. H. Langford, Mr. and Mrs. . Balding, Mrs. R. Martin and family, Messrs. and the Misses Hall.
The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr. C. Adey.
