The funeral of Mrs. Freeman, wife of Mr.T. J. Freeman, of the Broadway took place on Friday afternoon at the Cemetery, the Rev. R.H. Killip officiating.

The mourners were Mr. Freeman (widower), Miss Freeman (daughter), Messrs. A.J.K. and A. freeman (sons), Mr. and Mrs. Benson Freeman, Mr. J. Freeman (Hungerford), Mr. Andrew Freeman.

Among friends at the graveside were Rev. G. Crawshaw, Mr. S. Webb, Mrs. C. Webb, Miss Gould, Mrs Oliver etc.

The polished oak coffin bore the inscription

“Harriett Freeman, died June 12, 1901, aged 55”

There were a number of floral offerings from relatives and friends.

The undertakers were Messrs. Penfold and Son.
