The late Mrs Theodosius
The death occurred suddenly on Saturday, at “St John’s” Greenham road, of Mrs Helen Elizabeth Theodosius. The deceased lady was the widow of the Rev. A T Theodosius, formerly vicar of Whitstable, Kent, and mother of the Rev. A W H Theodosius, formerly curate at St John’s Church, and of Mr A C Theodosius the Newbury auctioneer. He took a keen interest in the parochial work of St John’s, and was a Member of the Council of the Mothers’ Union.
The funeral took place yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon, the service being conducted by the Rev. F D Briscoe. The coffin had been taken to the church the previous night, when the Vespers were said, whilst at 7.30 yesterday morning, Requiem took place. The mourners were the Rev. W H Theodosius and Miss Theodosius (son and daughter), Mr and Mrs A C Theodosius (son and daughter-in-law), Mrs Earle, Mrs Wallich (sisters), |Mr and Mrs H C Bolingbroke (sister and brother-in-law), Miss Mollie Wallich (niece),Mr A F Theodosius (brother-in-law), Miss Mary Theodosius(sister-in-law), Mr and |Mrs Stanley Day (cousins). Floral offerings were made by Miss Theodosius, the Rev. A W Theodosius, Mr and Mrs A C Theodosius, Messrs.
