JAMES BROWN

 

THE LATE MR. JAMES BROWN

 

The funeral took place at Newbury Cemetery on Wednesday of Mr. James Brown, of Monk’s-lane. Deceased had been employed on the Sandleford Estate from 1867 until retirement five years ago.

 

The service was conducted by the Rev. T.G. Tylee

 

Among the floral offerings were the following: From Annie (daughter); Mr. and Mrs. W. Brown, Messrs. J. and B. Brown, Mr. and Mrs. H. Brown, Mr. and Mrs. S. Brown (sons); Mr and Mrs. E. Brown and Annie; Mr. and Mrs. F. Brown; Mr. L.H. Brown and Ernie; James and Lennie Brown; Mrs. Haley, Mr. and Mrs. E. Haley, Messrs A. and E. Haley, Mrs Surman, Major and Mrs Butler (Sandleford Priory etc.
