THE LATE MR. HENRY SEYMOUR

The funeral of this deceased gentleman, who died on Thursday last at Shaw-crescent, took place yesterday at Newbury cemetery. Mr. Seymour was for many years in business in Marlborough, where he was mayor of the borough. He was also a Justice of the Peace, an alderman, and churchwarden, and indeed filled almost every public office that it was competent for a townsman to fill,

Upon his retirement from business 16 or 17 years ago, he returned to his native town of Newbury, where he spent his remaining days, having lived nearly to his 86th birthday, being in this respect like other members of his family who are somewhat remarkable for their longevity.
