SUDDEN DEATH
—A melancholy case of sudden death occurred on Sunday at the Black Boys. The deceased was a Mr. Henry Greenslade, who was discovered about eleven o'clock by Mrs. Balding, lying on the floor of his bedroom partly dressed.
As he had been previously medically attended, Mr. Montagu Palmer was able to certify that death ensued from apoplexy, and the coroner decided that there was no necessity to hold en inquest.
Mr. Greenslade was clerk to Messrs. Hawkins, brewers, of West Mills, in whose employ he had been about two years. His residence was in West-street, but the house having been rendered damp by the recent floods, his wife and only child left to visit her friends for a short time in London, and he stayed meanwhile at the Black Boys' Inn.
