ELIZABETH HULBERT DEATH OF A NONAGENARIAN

The death occurred of Mrs. Elisabeth (sic) Hulbert, at the Croft, Porchester-road, on June 7th, at the great age of 94.

The funeral took place at the Newtown-road Cemetery, the burial being in the grave where her late husband was interred. She was a staunch churchwoman and attended St. Nicholas Church. The service was taken by the Rev. Harold Wood, a great nephew of the deceased, who was assisted by the Rev. G.C. Twist.

The family mourners were: Mr. and Mrs. G.G. Wood, Miss Joyce Crouch, Miss Grave, Mr. Hulbert Grove, Mrs. Maurice Grove, Mrs. H.S.Neate, Mr. Paul Neate. Those who also attended the cemetery chapel were Mrs. Ramsey, Mrs and Miss Pope, Miss Lawrence, Mrs. Welch, Mrs. Hill, Miss Waters, Miss Phoebe Matthews.
Flowers were sent by: Mr. and Mrs. G.G. Wood, Harold and Leslie; Miss Joyce Crouch, Margaret and Phyllis; Mrs. Amy Grove; Miss Minna Grove; Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Grove; Master Maxwell Grove; J. Hulbert Grove; Mrs. J. Sparke-Browne and family; Mr. and Mrs. Blencoe; Miss Doe; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cox; Mrs. Imperioli; Mrs. Bleeck; Miss Goddard; Miss Count; Miss Woods; the Misses White; Miss A. The funeral arrangements were carried out by Messrs. Windsor and Neate.
