MARK PARSONS

"The Late Mr. Mark Parson, whose death took place recently, was an old townsman. He was the last survivor of the old Newbury Fire Brigade, which ceased its operations in 1878, after the big fire in Church Lane. He was a chimney sweep by business, and he and his family had a wide connection throughout the town and district."
