WILLIAM DOUGLAS PANCHARD
The funeral of the late William Douglas Panchard, of Ernest Cottage, 7, York Road, took place on Thursday last. Deceased commenced his career as an errand boy with Mr Shore, grocer, of London, where he remained until he became first hand, leaving on account of his illness.

The first part of the service was held at St John's Church, the vicar (Rev. A.G.P. Baines) officiating. The interment took place at Newtown Road Cemetery. Several friends were present at both church and graveside.

The mourners were Father and Mother, his sister Nellie, Minnie, Uncle Fred and Aunt Emma, Cousins Janey and Fred, Mr Shore, Cousin May, Mr S. North and Mr Taylor.

Floral offerings were sent by Mum and Dad, Nellie, devoted sweetheart Minnie. Bernard, Aunt Emma, Uncle George, Cousins Elsie and Walter Barking, Uncle Fred, Cousins Janey and Fred Bedwyn, Aunt Polly and family (Newbury), Aunt Elsie, Uncle Albert Loveday and Syl (Bristol), Mr and Mrs Shore and family(London), Mr and Mrs S. North, Mrs Rawlings, Mr and Mrs Critchley, Mr and Mrs Adey, Mr and Mrs Rolfe and family, Mr and Mrs H. Taylor, Alan and Roland, Mr and Mrs Bellinger, Mrs Stockley, Mr and Mrs Robertson, Mr and Mrs A.J.Cox, Mr and Mrs Wigmore, etc.

The funeral arrangements were carried out by his cousin, Mr Arthur Turner of Hampton Road.
