ALICE MARY LANGFORD THE LATE MISS ALICE LANGFORD
The funeral of the late Miss Alice Mary Langford, recently of Chitterne, Wilts. took place on Monday afternoon at the old Cemetery, Newtown-road. The first part of the service was held at Miss Langford's Shefford House, Northbrook-street, where the deceased lady passed away. The remains enclosed in a polished coffin mounted with brass furnishings, and solid brass shield plate engraved:
ALICE MARY LANGFORD Died October 19th 1917, Aged 60 years
were removed in a glass Washington Car, followed by carriages containing relatives and friends:- Mrs Coles (sister), Mr. and Mrs. George Wallis, Mr. Archie Wallis and Mr. Fred Wallis (uncles and aunt);Mrs Low, Miss Langford, Miss Mary Wallis (cousins), Mr. and Mrs. Percy Hayter, Mr. Jack Hayward (niece and nephews); Mrs. Langford; Miss Naomi Langford; Miss Kemp and Miss Freegard, and the cortege was met at the graveside by other friends.
