THE LATE MRS. W.T. NOYES
The funeral took place of Lilian Emily, the wife of William T. Noyes, of Beresford-road, Reading, second surviving daughter of Charles and Sarah Ball, of Argyle-road, Newbury, who passed away following an operation at Royal Berks Hospital, Reading, on May 23', took place on Monday afternoon, May 28th, at the Cemetery.
The first part of the service took place at the Primitive Methodist Church, where the deceased, with the family, had worshipped for many years.
The mourners were the widower, mother and father, Mrs. Aldridge and Mrs Russell (sisters), Mr. George Ball (Belfast) and Private Harry Ball, Northumberland Fusiliers (brothers), Miss Elsie Aldridge (niece), Mrs. W. Ball, Mrs. H. Ball, and Miss Hopkins (sisters-in-law), Mr. N. Russell (brother-in-law). The service was conducted by Reverend A Longstaff and sympathetic reference was made to her regular attendance upon divine worship as health and opportunity afforded prior to her removal to Reading. The hymns "rock of ages" and "Jesu lover of my soul" were sung and after the benediction the organist Mr Herbert Hall played "the dead march" in Saul as the courtierge left the church.

The Wreaths were numerous and included those from her bereaved husband and kitty; father and mother; sister Lizzie; George; Lena and family (Belfast); Edie and Horace; Harry and Nelly; Elsie and Harry; Winnie; Harry Aldridge; Stanley; Flo; Sylvia (Cousins); primitive Methodist choir; Primitive Methodist Women's own; Mrs Frank Rosier; Miss Alice Stone (Bedford); Mr and mrs Tommy Voss; Mr and mrs Heath; Mr and Mrs searle (Oxford); Mr and Mrs Probert (reading); mr and Miss Morgan and Miss Bertha Prince in memory of a kind friend.
