Alfred & Flora were born in the Isle of Wight and married in 1896. They had 2 children. Alfred worked as a joiner & carpenter, first in Cowes and then in Hastings. He served as a 1st Stoker in WW1. In 1939, Alfred has his own carpentry business in Hastings Sussex, after which they moved to live with their daughter at 32 Chandos Rd, Newbury. They died at the home, 32 Chandos Rd, Alfred left over £500 to his daughter, Amy, wife of marine engineer, Martin Henry Wakley. Source: Ancestry records
