DEATH OF MR. F. COX A WELL-KNOWN NEWBURY PIG DEALER
The death of Mr. Frederick Cox, of 130, King's-road, Newbury, which occurred on Wednesday last week at the age of 78, removes a familiar figure from the town. A native of Newbury, Mr. Cox was for a great many years a pig dealer and retired about six years ago. He is survived by his wife, one son and three daughters. The funeral took place on Saturday at the Newtown-road Cemetery, the Rev. E. H. Stenning, vicar of St John's Church, officiating. The family mourners were: Mrs. Cox (widow), Mr. M.W. Cox (son), Mr. and Mrs. Burden, Mr. and Mrs. Fereday, Mr. and Mrs. Brindle (daughters and sons-in-law), Mr. Ted Tuson (brother-in-law), Mrs. M. Cox (daughter-in-law), Mrs. F. Bennet (sister-in-law), Miss Joan Cox (granddaughter).
