JOHN GILES
DEATH OF AN OLD INHABITANT
The death occurred on Thursday last of Mr. John Giles, who latterly has lived in Gloucester-road, West Fields, having reached the ripe old age of 78 years.
The deceased formerly resided at Aborfield, and was known as an excellent and painstaking horticulturist, besides being exceedingly weather-wise.
For several weeks the old gentleman was kept to his bed.
The funeral took place on Tuesday.
