EVA MAUD K WETHERELL
SCHOLAR’S FUNERAL.—
The funeral of little Eva Wetherell, of West-mills, on Monday afternoon, was the occasion of a touching demonstration on the part of her fellow-scholars, some 40 of whom attended, and brought their floral tokens of affection which they dropped upon the coffin as it lay in its last resting-place.
The body was first taken to the Parish Church, where a simple service was conducted by the Rev. F. A. Hill and the Rev W. M. Hope, the former afterwards officiating at the Cemetery.
The Parish Nurse was also present. The parents and friends of the deceased child naturally desire to thank the children, clergy, and others for their expressions of sympathy.
