WILLIAM ISAAC BRAVANT
DEATH OF MR. BRAVANT
The death occurred on Thursday morning of Mr. William Isaac Bravant, who for nearly two years has been laid aside from public life, in which he formerly took a prominent part. For many years he held the office of assistant overseer to the parish of Newbury, and acted as registrar of marriages. He was secretary of the Newbury Permanent Building Society, and also sub-librarian at the Literary and Scientific Institution. Mr. Bravant was of a genial disposition and had made a large number of friends.
The funeral took place at the Cemetery on Monday, at 2.30, the Rev. H. Burson officiating. The mourners were:- Mrs. W. I. Bravant (widow of the deceased), Mr. and Mrs. T. white (Weymouth)' Mr. H. Bravant (London); Miss S. Bravant; Mr. and Mrs. F.R. Bravant; Mr. Fred Bravant.
Wreaths were sent by the following;- Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Webb (Streatham) Mr. John Webb; Mr and Mrs. Ive; Mr. S. Walter. Amongst friends at the Cemetery were noticed;- Mr. John Webb,;Mr. S. Walter; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Allen; Mr. J. Westacott; Mr. Ingram, and others.
