From the top of the headstone: In Loving Memory of / Philip Streat/ who departed this life/ in the 67th. year of his age/ April 16th. 1887. / Also of Caroline/ wife of the above/ who passed to her Eternal Rest/ in the 80th. year of her age Jan. 29th. 1906. /Interred in the City of London Cemetery./ Also of Wesley Spencer/ son of the above/ who was called Home on March 10th. 1894 in the 32nd year of his age. / Interred in the City of London Cemetery./ Also of Thomas Woodley & Martha Sophia / infant children, Interred at Chaddleworth/ "They do not die nor lose their mortal sympathy/ nor change to us, although they change."/ Also of Matilda, sister of Philip Streat/ who passed away on April 22nd. 1887 aged 57./ At Rest.
