Transciption: | THOMAS SMITH AN ODDFELLOW'S FUNERAL. --On Friday, the remains of Mr. Thomas Smith, whose sudden death was recorded in last week's NEWS, were interred in the Cemetery, and as a mark of respect to the memory of the deceased who had been a member of the order for many years, a procession of about 78 Oddfellows formed part of the cortege. The service was read by the Rev. W. Milton. The deceased was an active member, and, we believe, had filled the whole of the offices in the Briton's Pride, the lodge with which he was connected.
