Recorder's Notes | John was born in Bungay, Suffolk. He was a Wine merchant who later lived and died in Andover Terrace. He was a widow when he married Ann King Childs, nee Tubb, in Pancras Old Church. Ann was born to Jemima King & John Tubb in Leckhampstead. She married James Childs, also a wine merchant, and had a daughter, Philippina Jemima Tubb Childs born in Shoreditch in 1815. She died aged 4. They also had a son in 1818, Philip, born in Shoreditch in 1818. Philip married a surgeon's daughter, Frances Rutherford. He was a Chemist & druggist in Broadway, Newbury and died in Turnham Green, Chiswick in 1890. Ann has the same maiden name, Tubb, as Jemima Withers in the adjacent grave & came from the same area.
