North side of copestone: Sacred to the Memory of/ Ann, relict of Samuel Crofts/ who died July 10th.1866/ aged 87./ "Christ is all". East side of copestone: Also of William Crofts/ who died Aug. 11th. 1873/ aged 64 years.

Ann was born Anne Midwinter, she married Samuel Crofts at Speen in 1806.

She is listed as on her own by 1841, a hat maker,
