There is no burial register information available for John Joseph Wilton.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

John Joseph Wilton
c1791-1865
John was a Fishmonger ( recorded as a Fish and Fruit Dealer in 1861). He was baptised as Joseph in Owslebury Hampshire in 1795 the son of Rebec Wilton.
John married (as John) Rebecca Sims (baptised in Ringwood Hampshire in1806 daughter of John Sims) in 1823 in Ringwood Hampshire.
Known children of John and Rebecca were:
Elizabeth baptised on the 26th July 1826 at St Nicolas Church Newbury
Henry baptised 30th September 1827 in Oxford
Lydia baptised 29th March 1835 in Winchester
The 1841 census records John (49) living in Penny Farthing Street, Salisbury, Wiltshire with Rebecca (35) and their children Elizabeth (14), Henry (13) and Lydia (6).
The 1851 census records John (59) (recorded as Joseph), Rebecca (45) and Lydia (16) living in Dredge’s Yard, Newbury.
In 1861 John (69) (again recorded as Joseph, surname recorded as Welton on ancestry) and Rebecca (55), living in Northbrook Street, Newbury.
John Joseph died aged 74 in 1865 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 14th January.
Rebecca remarried the following year, her 2nd husband was a widower, Thomas Harris, a Gardener.
Thomas died aged 78 on the 4th October 1870, he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 6th October..
In 1871 Rebecca (65) was recorded living on Parish Relief in Dredge’s Yard Newbury.
She moved to Maidenhead (possibly to live with her married daughter Elizabeth Crosswell and her family) and died aged 77 in 1881, she was buried on the 3rd March at St Luke Maidenhead.
