William Barnes Draper
1864-1864
William was born in Newbury in1864, he was baptised on the 27th March 1864 at St Nicolas Church Newbury he was the son of Jesse & Harriet Draper (nee Messenger) who were married in Newbury in 1849. The family lived in Newbury and his father Jesse was a Sadler & Harness Maker.
William’s siblings were:
Charles Thomas c1850 Jane c1851 Jesse 1854 Lucy c1856 Frederick Messenger c1861 Harriet Elizabeth 1862-1863 Mary Messenger 1865
His mother also gave birth to 3 stillborn children who were buried in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the following dates: 29th August 1857, 12th October 1858 and 30th November 1859
William died aged 4 months in June 1864 and was laid to rest on the 24th June in the Newtown Road Cemetery.
Both of William’s parents and his sister Harriet Elizabeth were also buried in the Newtown Road Cemetery.
