Alice Wherrell
1862-1862
Alice was born in Newbury she was the daughter of John and Hannah Wherrell (nee Bailey) who married in Newbury in 1845. Her father was born in Newbury c1823 and her mother was born in Chaddleworth c1820.
Alice’s siblings were (all born in Newbury):

Alice died aged 0 in 1862 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 14th November.
The family lived in West Mills Newbury (1851), Back Lane (1861) and Borough Arms (1871). Her father worked as an Agricultural Labourer (1851), Publican (1861) and Labourer (1871). He died aged 54 in 1878 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 15th November.
In 1881 her mother was recorded as a Publican living at 9 Gashouse Road Newbury, in 1891 she was living at 9 Charles Place Newbury and was a Beer House Keeper. She died aged 72 in 1893 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 23rd October.
